About Me

Janet Green Jacobson: Janet has been a professional artist for twenty five years and works and lives in Hendersonville, N.C. She has explored many media, but currently works in oils. Janet uses the blendable characteristics of oil to create atmospheric landscapes in which light takes on an opalescence and seems to eminate from the surface of the canvas itself. The mountains where she has lived her whole life continue to be her source of inspiration and passion. Her work can be found in Wickwire Gallery in Hendersonville,NC, Iago Gallery in Blowing Rock, NC and Carolina Gallery in Spartanburg,SC.
